Red, White, and Fruit Kabobs Recipe

You don't need to wait until sundown to enjoy the grand spectacle of fireworks on the 4th of July. Make a platter of these Red, White, and Fruit Kabobs and just wait for the "ooohs" and "aaahs" of your guests. With this crowd pleaser, apples and watermelon get the star treatment (literally) by way of a small cookie cutter. Add blueberries, skewer and serve on Independence Day. Should you find yourself craving Fruit Kabobs on any other summer day, this trick works well with a medley of fruits. Have fun!

Ingredients

  • Watermelon
  • Blueberries
  • Apples
  • Kabob skewers
  • Small cookie cutters (or melon baller)

Directions

  • Begin by slicing both the watermelon and apples into roughly ½-inch thick pieces.
