Coffee Simmer Pot
- 6 cups water
- 1 apple (sliced)
- 1 orange (sliced)
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract
- ½ cup Post Alley Blend® beans
- Optional: a few star anise or chickory
- Fill saucepan ¾ with water.
- Add apple and orange slices, cinnamon sticks, vanilla or almond, and coffee.
- Simmer at very low heat throughout the day.
- Just remember to turn off the heat if you leave the house!
